Drake seems to have gotten it in his head that it’s necessary to provoke Kendrick Lamar to get into the booth, and so he’s decided to up the ante.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (April 16), the Toronto rapper taunted the California native by posting a photo of Lamar’s manager, Anthony Saleh.

“[turtle emoji] wonder is today the day [turtle emoji],” Drake wrote in the caption, referring to Kendrick’s continuing silence in response to Drizzy’s recent diss track.

Check it out below.

Saleh, who also manages Hip Hop titan Nas, was first announced as Lamar’s manager back in 2021 by then-TIDAL chief content officer and veteran journalist Elliott Wilson.

“Didn’t realize my guy Anthony Saleh @Dude_Br0 was managing Kendrick Lamar,” Wilson back in November of that year. “Wow. Big moves. Congrats.”

Previously, Drizzy reacted to an alleged diss track from Kendrick Lamar that’s been billed as a response to Drizzy’s shots on “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50).”

OVO Hush, an associate of the 6 God’s, posted a snippet of the leaked song on Instagram on Monday (April 15) and claimed that it’s real, despite suggestions it was AI-generated.

“When you find out this is real don’t forget how trash it was as an A.I. [shrug emoji],” he wrote in his caption.

Drake jumped into the comments section of the post and simply replied with a laughing face emoji.

The 90-second song clip featured lyrics such as: “I dominated your favorite rapper you idolize/ My silence is enough to make n-ggas apologize” and “Now that it’s direct, it’s leaked disses from burner pages and all/ Insecure behavior from n-ggas y’all call Gods.”

Many listeners immediately thought the track was fake and created using artificial intelligence, a theory that was backed up by rapper Daylyt who said: “Ps that’s 1000% ai.”

DJ Daji, who has produced a number of hits for Kendrick, also wrote: “Man we live in a weird time, AI diss tracks!! we need Google authentications to make sure all this shit is real or not lol.”
