In a video from the concert which took place at the Little Caesars Arena last weekend, the Scorpion rapper can be seen addressing the audience directly, claiming that he’d be fined $10,000 per minute if he went past the allotted time slot for his show.

“It’s $10,000 a minute to stay in this building past curfew,” he told the crowd. “But I don’t give a fuck. We’re doing this whole song. Let’s go.”

The audience responded by chanting “Let’s go!” in response to his claim.

According to the Detroit Free Press, however, Drake’s claims didn’t pass the smell test.
