Drake has been criticized by Jermaine Dupri for not attending Lil Wayne‘s LilWeezyAna Festival in New Orleans.
The So So Def founder took aim at Drizzy, who instead was courtside at a Toronto Raptors game, which he mostly spent trash talking DeMar DeRozan.

Dupri wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “This is amazing !! Southern HipHop at its best,” before adding: “I cant believe drake missed that, couldn’t have been me.”
The producer followed up by commenting: “Pardon me for getting excited about the amazing show they just had,ima HipHop nigga and this was a moment.”
Drake has yet to respond.

Jermaine Dupri was referencing the eagerly anticipated Hot Boys reunion at the festival, marking the first time that Lil Wayne, Juvenile, B.G. and Turk had shared the stage for almost 25 years.
The legendary group performed hits such as “Get Your Roll On,” “I Need a Hot Girl” and “Neighborhood Superstar,” as well as material from their respective solo catalogs.

Cash Money founder Birdman and legendary producer Mannie Fresh also joined them on stage to perform “I Need a Hot Girl,” completing a historic Cash Money reunion after years of feuding and legal problems.
Another highlight from Lil WeezyAna Festival saw Wayne get honored with the key to the city and his own day in New Orleans.

The “A Milli” hitmaker became visibly emotional as he was presented the esteemed accolades by fellow NOLA legend Master P and New Orleans mayor LaToya Cantrell.
The No Limit mogul also announced that New Orleans is getting its own Walk of Fame and that Wayne will be one of the first honorees.

Drake, meanwhile, made headlines this past weekend for taunting and mean mugging former Raptor DeMar DeRozan, who appeared in his rival Kendrick Lamar‘s “Not Like Us” video.
In addition to calling him a “pussy” after he missed a game-tying three point shot at the buzzer, the 6 God joked about personally ripping down a DeRozan banner if one were to be erected inside the Scotiabank Arena.
