Drake‘s longtime associate OVO Chubbs has seized the opportunity to remind the world of the 6 God’s success after he was crowned the second top artist of the 21st Century by Billboard.
Drizzy sits in second place on the publication’s list behind Taylor Swift and ahead of the likes of Rihanna (No. 3), Post Malone (No. 4) and Eminem (No. 5).

His fierce rival Kendrick Lamar occupies the 32nd spot on the chart, while other rappers who made the cut include Kanye West (No. 20), Nelly (No. 25), JAY-Z (No. 29), Lil Wayne (No. 30) and 50 Cent (No. 31).
The chart “tabulates performance on the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart from the start of 2000 through the end of 2024,” as Billboard explained.

They note that during this period Drake notched 13 number one entries on both the albums and singles charts, as well as a record 78 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
He also became the first act since The Beatles in 1964 to occupy all top five spots on the Hot 100 in a single week following the release of his 2021 album Certified Lover Boy.

Chubbs, who has served as the main muscle for Drake and OVO for well over a decade, was quick to amplify the achievement.
Reposting the news on his Instagram Stories, he wrote: “Congrats. [shrug emoji] Solo dolo. Yall boys not even coming close,” quoting Drizzy’s sales boast from “Weston Road Flows.”
His comments felt pointed considering the ridicule that Drake has faced since being deemed to have lost his high-profile rap battle with Kendrick Lamar last year.
Chubbs was a somewhat vocal presence throughout the feud. After Kendrick jabbed Drake and J. Cole in his blistering verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Like That,” the OVO security guard taunted the Compton rap star online.
“Tell That Little Boy Drop!!! But He Won’t. He Knows Better,” he wrote in response to speculation that Kendrick was preparing to follow up with a direct diss song aimed at Drizzy. (Obviously, it turned out that he had several in the stash.)
Chubbs later found himself on the receiving end of the gibes when Ab-Soul seemingly aimed a subliminal line at him in a freestyle on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show.

The Toronto native had hit out at Drake’s detractors on Instagram days earlier, writing: “Actions Speak Louder Than Words. Y’all Boys Talk To Much.”
The TDE lyricist then issued a slick rebuttal, rapping: “Actions speak loud but so does moments of silence.”
