Drake Seemingly Calls Out Future & Metro Boomin For ‘Selling’ Him Out

Drake has continued his string of statements that may or may not be responses to Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on Future and Metro Boomin‘s “Like That.”

Following an onstage speech and various Instagram controversies and possible concert invitations, Drizzy has now seemingly addressed Future and Metro in a new social media post.

On Friday (March 29), the 6 God posted a photo dump to Instagram, with a caption that many observers thought was aimed at Future and Metro Boomin, two of his frequent collaborators who recently put out a song featuring the now infamous Kendrick Lamar verse aimed squarely at Drake and J. Cole.

“I could never sell ya’ll out to sell my latest work,” Drake wrote. “Never do you bad out the blue but I’m down to make it worse.”

The tension between Kendrick and Drake has even spilled over into Drake’s circle of friends.

The rapper’s associate OVO Chubbs taunted Kendrick this week over an alleged diss song at the 6 God he has in the stash.

Rumors began spreading earlier this week that Kendrick has a whole track lined up for Drizzy after taking aim at his longtime rival — as well as J. Cole — on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.”

The speculation stemmed from Adin Ross claiming he had knowledge of the song during a recent Kick stream.

“Past couple nights I’ve been going out … and I bumped into somebody who’s very close on this Kendrick/Drake situation,” Ross said. “There’s a bird on the street that Kendrick already has a full-on diss track ready to drop for Drake.

“Kendrick, I’m a fan of Hip Hop and if you’re gonna diss Drake, drop that shit is all I’m gonna say, bro. Yeah man, I mean, let it fly … we all wanna listen to that.”

Chubbs, who used to be Drake’s security guard, reposted Ross’ comments on his Instagram Stories and appeared to suggest that Kendrick didn’t have the guts to drop the track.

He wrote underneath the clip: “Tell That Little Boy Drop!!! But He Won’t. He Knows Better.”

    1. Drake shows his love to up and coming rappers and they don’t show him grace im return. Kendrick, future, metro, and j Cole would never have long careers if drake wasn’t giving them shoutouts

      1. Pretty sure all of the artists you mentioned would be completely fine without Drake. Troll harder next time I guess?

      2. Facts drake been putting people on he works with nobodies and makes them the next hot thing

      3. ^^^ said no one ever besides your stupid ass. Drake’s the Taylor swift of hip hop but you idiots will never stop drinking his kool-aid

      4. Take a look at 4batz recently. He never had a single hit on the charts. before 2024. Yet drake loved act 2 and his cosign of 4batz to ovo records got the song into the top 10 of all a sudden. It wouldn’t be nearly as successful if future or kendrick signed 4batz.

    2. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kendrick, but he has shown 0 loyalty to new artists since he’s been out. I think he’s just letting you know, hey, this is a competitive sport!
