Drake Brings Out The Weeknd At Germany Tour Stop

Past collaborators Drake and The Weeknd reunited onstage this weekend during a stop on Drizzy’s Boy Meets World tour in Germany, shooting down any rumors of a rivalry between the two Canadian superstars. The moment drew cheers from fans in attendance and comes after Drake’s recent appearance in The Weeknd’s “Reminder” video.

The Weeknd appeared on Drake’s 2011 Take Care album, most notably on the “Crew Love” single.  Saturday night, some of that love was on display after Drake gave the stage to the artist born Abel Tesfaye, who ran through his hit single “The Hills” with fans singing along in unison.

The joy definitely appeared genuine after fans captured video of the pair embracing with Drake shouting out the “real Starboy” in honor of The Weeknd’s latest album.

Back in November, The Weeknd said he was open to working with Drake again, so the hope of an OVOXO collaborative effort in the future looks promising after this showing.

    1. fuck fake drake, still trying to ride off the popularity of weeknd, he’ll ask the weeknd to write more songs for him to try and recreate the buzz he had with take care, the weeknd’s album he wrote for fake drake. #DRAKEISFAKEDRAKEISWACK

    2. After Weeknd pretty much gave Drake his album and they parted ways, I wonder if Drake would’ve acted differently if Weeknd wasn’t successful with the 2 efforts on Weeknds end. Just thoughts.

    3. Im happy for them but what did wizkid to Drake that would make him diss him on stage like that. We all know Wizkid is the real starboy

    4. Drake makes it wkrk everytime though so why hate on His success?if he was darker i bet his “mushiness”would be seen as smooth soft rnb rap type shit. Even if he jumps from oerson to person to get musical “inspiration” whats wrong with that?obv he does it damn well..haters always goin hate…
