Thursday (February 16) has proven to be a huge day for new projects. Kicking off with The Weeknd’s star-studded video for “Reminder” featuring Drake, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, YG, and French Montana, the DX Digest puts Raekwon and G-Eazy’s “Purple Brick Road,” MadeinTYO and Big Sean’s “Skateboard P,” and CyHi The Prynce’s Kanye West-produced “Nu Africa” in the top slots. Future’s “Cold” collaboration with Maroon 5, Rae Sremmurd’s “Swang,” Oddisee’s “NNGE,” Murs’ “GBKW (God Bless Kanye West),” Problem’s “Ain’t Fuh Me,” Kingdom’s new album, Tears In The Club, Jay IDK’s “The Boy’s Innocence,” and a Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance of the breakup anthem “I Don’t” from Mariah Carey and YG also make the cut.

the weeknd f. drake, a$ap Rocky, travis scott, YG & French montana – “reminder”

As The Weeknd turns 27 today (February 16), he found a way to let the whole world celebrate with him. After performing with Daft Punk at the Grammy Awards last weekend, he is back with a new video for “Reminder” featuring fellow Canadian Drake, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, YG and French Montana. Directed by Kid Studio, “Reminder” follows videos for “Party Monster” and “Starboy.” Watch it above.

raekwon F. g-eazy – “purple brick road”

Wu-Tang vet Raekwon has wisely teamed up with Bay Area rapper du jour G-Eazy for “Purple Brick Road,” which comes ahead of The Chef’s forthcoming album, The Wild. Produced by the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, it starts off kind of soft, but naturally explodes into some well-executed rhymes and vintage boom-bap rhythms.

MadeinTyo f. big sean – “skateboard p”

Big Sean just can’t lose right now. After securing the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 withI Decided.and reaching #6 on the Hot 100 with his “Bounce Back” single, he’s on top of the world. His latest finds him teaming up with MadeinTYO for “Skateboard P,” flossing with an old-school DeLorean and setting up the half-pipe.

Cyhi the prynce – “nu africa”

CyHi The Prynce’s “Nu Africa” comes through with an unquestionably dope beat ahead of his new album, No Dope On Sunday, which is executive produced by the inimitable Kanye West. Although the lyrics could use some work, the production is spot on.

Future & Maroon 5 – “Cold”

Maroon 5 keeps tapping those rappers to jump on their pop tunes. After dropping the Future-assisted single “Cold” on Wednesday (February 15), the Los Angeles-based group, spearheaded by a blonde Adam Levine, is back with a weird new video for it, which begins with an invite to Future’s house to hear a verse. It just gets weirder from there.

The self-proclaimed Black Beatles, Rae Sremmurd hits the golf course with “Swang” and appears to channel the classic Rodney Dangerfield film, Caddyshack with keg stands and plenty of debauchery. The track comes from SremmLife2.

Oddisee f. Toine – “NNGE”

As Oddisee gears up to release The Iceberg, the DMV native reveals the third single from the project titled “NNGE (Never Not Getting Enough)” and featuring Toine. The Iceberg is scheduled for a February 24 release via Mello Music Group.

murs – “gbkw (God bless kanye west)”

On the heels of a reunion tour with his old crew, Living Legends, Strange Music Inc. signee Murs slides through with a new single, “GBKW (God Bless Kanye West).” Lyrically, the song appears to be a genuine sentiment aimed at the tormented Yeezy “and every other brother of color that’s under stress.” The title alone should garner plenty of clicks.

Problem – “aint fuh me”

Problem continues to pump out videos and singles like it’s going out of style. His new HD Tay Films-directed visual finds him revisiting his Chachivilleproject, and spitting from a parking lot, his car, the middle of a street, outside of the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and in front of a harem of ladies. Hey — he’s just doing him.

kingdom f. syd, sza & more – “tears in the club” lp

After releasing the SZA-assisted single “What Is Love,” producer Kingdom is back with an early stream of his new project Tears In The Club, which also features The Internet’s Syd and more.

yg & Mariah Carey – “jimmy kimmel live”

Oh, Mariah. She just won’t stop, which pleases some people, but gets an eye roll from others. Perhaps trying to hold on to any form of relevance or bounce back from her disastrous NYC Eve performance, she’s recruited YG for “I Don’t” and took the show to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

JAY IDK f. fat trel – “A boy’s innocence”

After sharing his tour vlog with Isaiah Rashad on Wednesday (February 15), Jay IDK is back with another video for “A Boy’s Innocence” with Fat Trel, which is the second song from his Empty Bank project.
