Don Toliver and Kali Uchis have officially welcomed their first child into the world, revealing the baby’s gender to their fans and followers.

On Thursday (March 14), the pair shared a joint Instagram post made up of postnatal clips with their newborn son soundtracked by G9rm’s “F.L.V.”

“You are everything we could have hoped for & more,” the singer wrote about her offspring. “Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. may our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.”

Halle Bailey, Katy Perry and Kehlani were among those who hopped under the comments section to congratulate their peers.

In January, the power couple uploaded a collaborative social media post made up of home-video snippets of themselves as small children as well as clips revealing the “See You Again” hitmaker’s baby bump.

Toliver could be seen caressing his partner’s belly and dancing with her in the wholesome montage. One of the frames even featured him kissing her stomach and prompting her to look at the camera and say: “Look how much daddy loves you, little pooks. He love you forever.”

In the caption, the 29-year-old wrote: “Starting our family [bandaged-heart emoji] don’t take too long to get here little pooks, mom & dad can’t wait to share our life with you.”

Even then, Halle Bailey was among those who expressed their excitement over the news — this made sense considering she gave birth to her first child not long before.

In a vlog post from the week prior, her partner DDG opened up about becoming a father and applauded his girlfriend for taking to motherhood so naturally.

“I wouldn’t have chose no other person in the world to have a child with,” he said. “We learning. She’s a great mom. It’s crazy, she’s amazing.”

The Michigan native also admitted that he couldn’t resist watching the birth of their son, saying: “I seen him come out. I watched the whole thing. I was honestly scared ’cause I was like, ‘Man, I don’t really want to see this.’”

He continued: “But I’m like, ‘Damn, at the same time, I don’t plan on having a million kids … I’m probably not gon’ see this again.’ So I went down there and I looked, and it was the craziest shit I ever seen in my life, bro. I have a newfound respect for women. As a dude, we really got it easy. I couldn’t imagine pushing a baby out of my P.O.”

About exposing baby Halo to the public, DDG said he and Halle are taking the JAY-Z and Beyoncé approach by protecting the identity of their child for now.

“I don’t plan on showing his face. She doesn’t plan on showing his face. It’s just too priceless,” he explained. “He’s great looking … Think of him as being the best features of us possible — that’s what he looks like. He’s a beautiful baby.”
