Doja Cat has turned more than a few heads with yet another unique and risqué outfit at the 2024 Met Gala.
Never one to be shy with her wardrobe choices, Doja attended the biggest fashion event on the calendar in what might be her most daring look yet.

The Scarlet rapper arrived at the annual fashion event at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) wearing an ankle-length t-shirt from Vetements designed to look as if it was wet-through, which left little to the imagination.
Doja also gave the event the moniker “Wet Gala” in honor of her outfit, which was created by Vetements co-founder Guram Gvasalia who also accompanied her to the swanky party.

When asked by Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet about her look, the 28-year-old explained that she wanted to put her spin on this year’s Met Gala theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
“I know that people were gonna do flowers, but my flower of choice is the most used flower and it’s cotton,” she said. “Also because a white T-shirt is timeless and it felt very poetic to choose this. And I knew it wasn’t going to blend in too much and I don’t really like to blend in.”
Doja also revealed the secret behind her soaking wet look: hair gel.
Doja Cat was far from the only rap star who attended this year’s Met Gala. Cardi B also made a statement in a gothic yet glamorous gown designed by Windowsen that required at least half a dozen assistants to help her walk in it.
Bardi’s long-running rival Nicki Minaj was also in the building, opting for a very different look in a brightly-colored floral dress courtesy of Marni’s Francesco Risso.

This marks two years running that Doja Cat has made her mark with her outfit at the Met Gala.
Last year, she wore prosthetic makeup that made her look like an actual cat and a dress with a tail attached.
The outfit was an ode to late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, who was the theme of that year’s gala — specifically his pet cat Choupette.
Taking her furry ‘fit one step further, Doja even acted like a cat on the red carpet, meowing to every question during an interview with Vogue.

“Okay, so tell me all about this,” model Emma Chamberlain told the rapper, who replied: “Meow.” When asked who made her dress and the inspiration behind it, Doja replied with several more “meows.”
