Doechii has celebrated her historic night at the 2025 Grammys by dropping a new song that nods to a classic Kanye West moment at the awards show.
Released just hours after she won Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal, “Nosebleeds” finds the TDE star putting her spin on Ye’s famous Grammys acceptance speech from 2005 when he won the same award for The College Dropout.

“I don’t know, is she gonna go crazy? Is she gonna go crazy? / Errbody wanted to know what Doechii would do if she didn’t win / I guess we’ll never–,” she raps on the thumping, shape-shifting track.
The lyrics call back to West’s aforementioned speech where he said: “Everybody asked me the question, they wanted to know, I know he’s gonna wild out, he’s gonna do something crazy! Everybody wanted to know what I would do if I didn’t win… I guess we’ll never know.”
At the Grammys, Doechii became just the third female artist to win Best Rap Album following Lauryn Hill in 1997 (as part of the Fugees) and Cardi B in 2019.
She paid tribute to the two women in her emotional acceptance speech, saying: “I don’t want to make this long, but this category was introduced in 1989, and two women — three women have won: Lauryn Hill, Cardi B and Doechii.
“I put my heart and my soul into this mixtape. I bared my life. I went through so much. I dedicated myself to sobriety, and God told me that I would be rewarded and that He would show me just how good it can get. I have to thank God.”
Doechii also thanked her mother, her label, TDE, her fans and those who worked on Alligator Bites Never Heal before signing off: “I know that there is some Black girl out there, so many Black women out there, that are watching me right now and I want to tell you, you can do it.

“Anything is possible. Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you that tell you you can’t be here, that you’re too dark or you’re not smart enough or you’re too dramatic or you’re too loud. You are exactly who you need to be, to be right where you are and I am a testimony.”
The Tampa, Florida native also delivered one of the standout performances of the night, running through a medley of “Catfish” and “Denial is a River” that further showcased her electric stage presence and theatrical, finely-tuned choreography.
