Want to make DJ Paul very, very angry? Just play his music at the wrong decibel.
The Three 6 Mafia member went into an intense and at times violent rant during his performance at Memphis, Tennessee’s 901Fest over the weekend. The rapper felt his music wasn’t being played loud enough and began to take aim at the sound guy.
“They know who the king is, so they gone pull bullshit like this. They don’t want the music to be loud. Cause they want it to be bullshit to y’all,” DJ Paul said in video obtained by TMZ.
DJ Paul’s rant quickly went all the way left as he threatened to “shoot some muthafuckin’ houses up tonight.”
“What I’mma do tonight. I’mma ride past some muthafucka’s houses. And I’mma shoot some muthafuckin’ houses up tonight. That’s what the fuck I’mma do,” he said.
DJ Paul continued to complain about the sound, and then went in on a local DJ. He recruited the help of 901Fest attendees as he chanted “Fuck Devin Steele” and “weak-ass bitch.”
Steele wasn’t at the event and tweeted on Monday morning (May 29) that he wasn’t sure what had happened to set Paul off.
Unfortunately, Paul’s rant didn’t do much to help his case. The audio for DJ Paul’s set was completely cut off and was reportedly followed by the power for the venue.
DJ Paul has not responded publicly to the debacle.
Who the fuck is he gonna shoot up, he’s not a tough guy. He’s married to a white woman with a family and lives in the burbs. Even back in the 666 mafia heyday, he partied the least hard out of all those guys, by far.
