Deejay and music producer Kutmah is currently facing deportation, according to reports.
Born in the UK to an Egyptian mother and Scottish father, Kutmah moved to the United States with his mother at the age of 12. Upon applying for residency to prevent being sent to Egypt, a court ruled that, as a British citizen, he would be able to live in the UK. However, the application was denied.
Kutmah and his mother returned to court to plead their case in 1996, when Kutmah was the age of 20, when they were again denied a green card, and were urged to sign a document stating they would voluntary leave the US. However, the two ended up staying.
On Wednesday (May 5) morning, “armed agents busted into Kutmah’s house and detained him. He was brought to a facility in downtown LA where he was interrogated. Yesterday he was moved to New Mexico. His case will come up against the prosecutor very soon and he may face deportation.”

LEGAL IMMIGRATION, we have residency laws and the individual in question signed a document promising to voluntarily leave the U.S., however rather than do the honorable thing and display some integrity, he blew it off and it caught up to him 16 years later. As for you thinking that people think we here in the U.S. are as you put it “dumb and ignorant” (which mean the same thing dumb ass). Kutmah may not have emigrated legally, but he has a vital part of the L.A music scene, making positive contributions to American art and culture.
