The recent footage of Diddy abusing Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel has triggered trauma in the mogul’s ex and son’s mother, Misa Hylton.
Misa, an accomplished fashion stylist, shares 30-year-old Justin Combs with Diddy. The pair have had an amicable relationship over the years and have been photographed together numerous times, though she did blast his “leadership” and parenting in 2023 after Justin got hit with a DUI.

In a post to Instagram accompanied by photos of all seven of Puff’s children on Tuesday (May 21), Misa shared her feelings about the situation and said that her ex needs to get help.
“I am heartbroken that Cassie must relive the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her,” she began. “I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma.

“These young people were raised by women that want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams. Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them.”
She concluded: “Their father needs help and I am praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it.”
Misa Hylton is certainly not the only person who was once in Diddy’s circle who is speaking out against him. In a similar Instagram post this week, Shynecondemned his former label boss for the 2016 assault.
The former Bad Boy rapper turned politician, who was sent to prison in 2001 following a shooting that also involved his label boss, spoke out against the Hip Hop mogul on social media.
“I vehemently denounce the repugnant behavior of Sean Diddy Combs captured on the video in which he is seen physically assaulting Mrs. Cassie Ventura-Fine,” he wrote on Instagram.
“There is no place for Violence against Women anywhere on the planet. As a father of a precious daughter, a global citizen and the next Prime Minister of Belize I want absolutely nothing to do with people who engage in this pattern of diabolical behavior.”

Shyne concluded by saying: “My prayers are with Cassie and all the other victims who have come forward with horrendous allegations against Mr Combs.”
