Diddy is getting back into comedy acting. The Hip Hop mogul, who has a handful of standout roles under his belt, is slated to appear on the upcoming eighth season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
According to THR, the Bad Boy honcho will start filming his guest spot for the FX comedy today, though details surrounding his role are yet to be revealed. The next season of Philadelphia is scheduled to air on Thursday, October 11th on FX.
Diddy last appeared in a comedic role in 2010’s Get Him to the Greek. He most recently graced the small screen as a guest star on Hawaii Five-O and CSI: Miami.

Never been a Diddy fan musically but hes got a great sense of humor, Get Him to the Greek was hilarious…can only imagine hes gonna make this great show even funnier
…the show was funny initially (seasons 1&2), kinda sucks ass with super-ridiculous plots now….Diddy was actually funny in Get Him to the Greek though…..
the show isn’t as good as it was when it first came out, although last season was kind of a return to form especially since the season before that was pretty disappointing, but the plots have always been absurd, that’s the whole point of the show. You can’t say that the show “sucks ass” because of “super ridiculous plotlines” considering the early episodes had crazier plots than the newer ones.
Problem is the writing isn’t as tight as it used to be, the main guys aren’t writing as much anymore and when they let other people handle it the episodes don’t have the same level of quality.
Why?? He has nothing to do with Philly or anything…screw this guy!!!

Hell yeah, Always Sunny is one of the only shows I watch anymore… Maybe Dee will become a rapper.
