As if putting out his group Dirty Money’s debut and peddling Ciroc Vodka wasn’t enough, rap mogul Diddy now taking to the small screen. The actor/musician/entrepreneur recently announced that he will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of CBS’s hit revamp of “Hawaii Five-O.”

According to Billboard.com, Diddy will play a NYPD detective who comes to Honolulu on a quest to avenge the deaths of his family. In addition to his role, a number of Diddy’s hit songs will be featured throughout the episode.

This most recent role is hardly Diddy’s first foray into acting. He has starred in films like Get Him to the Greek and Monster’s Ball, in addition television and stage adaptations of A Raisin in the Sun.

Diddy isn’t the only Hip Hop friendly that’s featured on “Hawaii Five-O.” The show’s star Scott Caan – son of the famed The Godfather star James Caan – was a member of the early ’90s duo the Whoolinganz alongside super-producer and emcee the Alchemist.
