This year, historic rap label Delicious Vinyl has stepped into tomorrow with a new style. The release of RMXXology saw historic catalogue remixes from the likes of Eminem [click to listen], Hot Chip and Peaches. The label also linked with Aaron Lacrate and Debonair Samir [click to read] for Delicious Gutter, a sub-label that has brought fusions of styles back into the industry, releasing breaking dance music from across the world.
Whereas the first Delicious Gutter EP explored the French dance styles of Don Rimini, which appeared on RMXXology, the second project comes by way of Dancehall pioneer Mr. Vegas. The two camps collide to release the Oh My Gosh EP, which includes all original tracks, making it the first Jamaican songwriter to work with the Bmore sound. Playing off of Lacrate‘s Hip Hop sensibilities, the EP also features Baltimore emcee Verb, who has been recently appearing on AOL Sessions and Mark Ronson‘s satellite radio show.
Mr. Vegas has previously worked Hip Hop artists with Pitbull [click to read] and Swollen Members.
