There are few labels out there that are worse than Def Jam for delaying albums. Method Man’s third album was supposed to be out over a year ago and it doesn’t even look like it will be out this year. One of Def Jam’s newest members, Noreaga, has quickly learned about the delays. Nore’s third solo LP which is entitled “Grimy: God’s Favorite” was originally slated for a mid-December release.
The release date has been changed once again, after being advertised for a July 23rd release Def Jam has scrapped that plan. This time it is good news for Nore fans as the album has moved forward a month to June 25th. The reasons for the new date is to combat the album’s bootlegging and to capitalize of his new single, “Nothin.” The song has gotten quite a buzz going right now and waiting 2 months for the album wouldn’t help sales much.
