Amidst recent reports that he has filed a lawsuit against Qunicy Jones III’s QD3 Entertainment, David Banner has come forward to say that there is no truth to them whatsoever.
“Me and Quincy talked three days ago,” explained Banner to XXLMag.com. “Quincy’s my homie, Wayne is my homie, whatever’s going on between them, I don’t know what that is, but they are both very close friends of mine. And that [lawsuit] is not true, at all.”
Banner refers to Lil Wayne’s lawsuit against QD3, which the rapper filed when he was not given the right to approve content for a documentary about his life.
Banner added that despite recent producers’ alleged financial troubles with Cash Money, that Banner has been compensated in his working relationship with Wayne.
