Harlem producer Dame Grease has teamed up with Sonicbids.com, a social music website, to give one producer and one artist a chance to create a bonus track for his latest album Martial Law.
Grease, who is best known for his work with rappers DMX, Max B and The L.O.X., will choose an artist and producer that he deems not only musically talented but also someone who adds a “creative twist” to their submission. Winners will be chosen by August 10. For more information on the contest, click here.
While no official date has been set, Martial Law is still scheduled to be released this year through Vacant Lot Records/Island Def Jam. DMX, among others, is expected to be featured on Grease’s latest project.
Dame needs to go back and listen to DMX’s “It’s Dark & Hell Is Hot” before he makes any more of this wackass shit.
I definitely agree with this. That album was Dame at his peak.
