Dame Dash Admits Steve Rifkind Checked Him Over Jewish Comments

Dame Dash’s disdain for Lyor Cohen recently sparked an Instagram post about Jewish culture vultures, which didn’t sit well with one of his peers. According to Dame, Loud and SRC Records founder Steve Rifkind checked the Hip Hop mogul for the comments.

In response, Dame shared their text message exchange and clarified his original statement. The Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder reiterated his contempt for Cohen but assured Rifkind and his followers that he wasn’t being anti-Semitic.

“My Jewish brother @steverifkind checked me real fast cause that’s what men do when there is a misunderstanding,” he wrote. “to be clear the #culturevulture does not represent all Jewish people but all good Jewish people should help get him out of here because he’s giving y’all a bad name…my message is love and self awareness and I’m anti slavery of the mind…

“I want piece not war awareness and respect will avoid the war let’s all evolve together #honorablepeoplesticktogther #likemindedpeoplesticktogether no Disrespect ever to good people no matter what color you are …funny shit is I don’t see anybody from #liarcohen culture defending him only #careercoons …go figure.”

In his original post, Dame posted a video of Louis Farrakhan discussing how white people in the industry — particularly Jewish ones — exploit black artists. He used the clip as more fuel in his ongoing feud with Cohen, who Dame has routinely labeled as a culture vulture.

“@louisfarrakhan has been warning about this person for years,” he wrote. “I’m not gonna stop till #liarcohen the culture vulture of this generation quits @youtubemusic or gives me a fair one …I don’t care what #careercoon tries to defend him #ceobeef #doitfortheculture liar never send someone from my culture to do your dirty work…

“I’m calling you out.. holla at me merry Xmas #staytuned and no disrespect to any body Jewish this dude doesn’t reflect a whole culture just the Jewish culture vultures just wanna be clear this is not a black or white thing it’s a mentality thing the black culture vultures are worst the then the white ones.”

Earlier this year, Dame and Cohen’s issues resurfaced in the public eye when the latter appeared on The Breakfast Club. Despite working with Dame during Roc-A-Fella’s glory days, Cohen claimed he didn’t know him.

“Who’s Dame Dash?” the former Def Jam head honcho asked. “I don’t even know him. You’re bringing his name up, I don’t even know him.”

Dame responded by calling Cohen a culture vulture in interviews and social media posts. In August, he appeared on The Joe Budden Podcast to declare he “wants the smoke with Lyor.”

        1. BET is not the BET of old don’t forget Bob sold the company to who? The same people who own MTV etc. Dame Dash may come off a certain way but the man speaks facts and he’s far from a yes man. He stands his own ground and he’s paving his own way. We all know the world in general cant handle the truth when its raw. So they take it away when they can and continue to promote what they promote. We live in a world where love and hip is idolized. I feel sorry for the kids and adults who thinks that’s real life.
As long as the culture vultures control the industry progress will never happen. hell even meek mill said he would stop his protesting if the “white men told him too” I lost some respect for him after that. If you were down for making a change nothing would stop you. but everybody cant be MLK and the countless others who lost their lives for us to be where we are.

          1. MLK was controlled opposition though. Promoted as the leader for blacks by the j*ws. Marcus Garvey was the real deal, look him up.

            1. All facts. I know MLK was controlled to a degree. But Marcus Garvey was a very progressive individual that brought a wealth of change he was even a business owner.

          2. Hey, if black people wanted to pay me millions to do what I love, then I wouldn’t dear protest them lol. Like seriously… Make me a slave bro. Those guys at McDonald’s must not understand how hard it is to have multi million dollar contracts, making sub par rap, and performing live with a drink in hand. I understand that you lost some respect for him, but anyone who would bite the hand that feeds them is a dumbass, especially considering how great he has it. He already made more than 95 percent of humans on earth will. Butttt he’s oppressed still. Me working a 9 to 5 every day to make ends meet? That’s privilege.

      1. Black Entertainment Television (BET) is an American pay television channel that is owned by the BET Networks division of Viacom. Viacom founder happens to be a certain “Sumner Redstone” who’s birth name is “Sumner Murray Rothstein”. Now if you smart you can figure out his ethnicity.

        1. Ethnicity doesn’t matter for entertainment. In fact, the BET founder reps Trump, because the founder of BET is a true business man, who recognizes when a president signs good legislation and executive orders to help black business in America.

Dame wasn’t renewed because the ratings weren’t as good as they had hoped, aka not profitable enough. That’s all BET is about is MONEY. Well, that, and dumbing down its viewers with junk TV. BET isn’t any better than MTV lol.

    1. Be careful Dame. Or else you’ll have the ADL coming for your ass. Remember, nobody is allowed to be critical of the j*ws or Israel
