Curren$y has lived up to his longtime nickname of Spitta on Zombie Juice‘s latest track, “Terpalation” — check out the song’s video below.

Released on Friday (April 21), the Sam Barsh-produced track — taken from the Flatbush Zombies rapper’s debut solo LP, Love Without Conditions— hears Curren$y black out, spitting non-stop for almost half the song.

I’m smoking well, breathing clouds, casting spells/ Voodoo that I do, don’t leave me around your boo/ Sleepless in Seattle, I’m up, I’m rolling fat ones/ Grazing on grass like cattle, why coyotes lurk in the shadows/ Usual suspects arrived in matching Corvettes with double barrels,” the New Orleans native spits.

He continues: “Smoking aces, take 10 paces/ Draw your weapon and pray to God you make it/ In other words, shoot your shot at all costs/ I guess that’s what I’m saying.”

Zombie Juice, meanwhile, tips his hat to his native New York — and to marijuana — when he finally steps up to the plate.

Who said I can’t get stoned anymore/ I’m with my bitch, she tryna buy out the store/ I’m too high, I’m ’bout to head out the door/ I miss that haze, that purple Cam’ron was on/ I never stopped dreaming, I always want more,” he spits.

Zombie Juice released Love Without Conditions on Friday. To celebrate, the rapper held a sold-out album release show on Thursday (April 20) at Los Angeles’s Peppermint Room.

In a press release, the album is described as a “brutally candid, autobiographical album that explores unconditional love and dissects [Juice’s] own formative experiences including abuse, staying in shelters and tragic family deaths that he has reckoned with for years on a path to empathy and forgiveness.”

Zombie Juice’s new album shouldn’t come as a surprise, as his fellow group member Meechy Darko revealed last year that other group members were working on individual music. As a group, they currently have “40 new songs” in the bag, some of which will appear on their forthcoming James Blake-assisted album.

The group have fans in high places, including Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, who said the Zombies are the “the vibe Hip Hop is missing” during a listening event to promote their collaborative single and video, “Plug Addicts.”

“We gathered Prince Paul from the Gravediggaz and we came together just started making music,” RZA told HipHopDX. “One of the songs we all felt extremely happy about the creation and the sonics of it was ‘Plug Addicts.’”
