This morning, HipHopDX.com, Crooks & Castles, Karmaloop and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League have announced the “J.U.S.T.I.C.E. 4 Crooks” contest. The winner will receive the song, licensed to be used on any project (with more prizes possibly announced). The second and third-place winners will receive clothing packages from Crooks & Castles.

    1. ummmmmm yeah soooooo they aren’t that hot for this to matter, hence the big fat “0” in the comments. now if we were talking about timbaland, boi1da, or even dre or premo. polow da don, swizzy. but justice league? all of they hot stuff is just replays of samples.

      1. ^^^ Negatory batman!! You wrong, buddy. I listen to it ALL! Im a DJ. But the best producers to use for a contest to where a free beat is a prize would be a MAINSTREAM producer would it not? Thats why i listed mainstream producers. and thats why justice league (mainstream producers) are doing the contest. who would want to be in a contest to win a beat from someone that they never heard of? use your brain.

      2. JUSTICE league produced the entire Maybach series.. not to mention like half of Deeper than Rap. just cus noone knows who they are doesn’t mean they aren’t incredibly dope. And just cus your a DJ doesn’t mean your not incredibly idiotic. Use ur brain.

      3. J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League is legendary are they not? are they not one of the most cinematic group of producers you heard?

      4. ^^^ “legendary”? For what? what have they done that has never been done before? All of the maybach music songs either contained a sample or contained a replayed sample. So NO, they aren’t “legendary” GTFOH. You must be one of them. They definitely think highly of themselves but then once you hear the original sample, you’re like “WTF”.

What’s “legendary” about replaying someone else’s genius? That ain’t nothing new.

Now when they come up with some ALL ORIGINAL music from scratch that sounds like maybach music, then we can talk.

Stop D-riding! Well you’re probably one of them, LOL.

      5. “just cause you spin, don’t mean you know what dope is” – EV. It’s funny how all these comments keep wanting to hate, when that’s not what it’s all about. Who doesn’t use samples when producing now days? Unless your droppin shit on FL9, or you know how to play instruments JUST LIKE JL SHOWED IN THE VIDEO, a beat is a beat. Everybody gots their own opinion, which is cool. Mine: JL was asked to make a beat to rep Crooks’n’Castles for the contest, and that’s exactly what was made.

Good luck to all the contestants. Hope we get to see some finalists sooner than later.

    2. the beat they are giving away is wack. probably a throw away they had…it’s not that it’s not professional and musically crisp…it’s just boring. It’s not even an album filler. Wack wack wack.

    3. yo thats faulty some ppl rushed n worked hard to submit it on the 27th n now we got an extension u know what..may the best man win or woman on monster or demons or hobits or lions juss kidding.

    4. Phillip and Nak Pretty good man.

Nak I like ure energy but I aint like all the punch in takes.

I dont know why yall aint use the whole beat.

      I used the whole thing.

If they dont pick me they gone regret it.

Theres a story How BIG did a contest for stretch Armstrong and he loss. They guy they chose was never heard of again and well u Know what BiG did.

I live in Florida now so that would be a good look..I think they based in Miami or Tampa.. Justice League that is.

Its fucked up I found about the contest a day before the deadline..Submitted it and then they extended the deadline.

      Good Luck Yall

My album droping sometime in august. I should be performing soon.

    5. Well, from the 2 I just heard right here, its gonna be a preference of subject matter. this beat is clean. if it was just between the 3 of us, its no doubt i got it but its more entries being made i know so its just wait n c. youtube.com/styles950 soundclick.com/mrfoulstyles just so you can get a vision of what i submitted. good luq 2 all & please, save yourselves by not talking sliq cuz I WILL END YOUR MC CAREER B4 IT STARTS! & that aint just talk… @ shamba… u 2? i did my shit in 1 day also then they extended it… fuqd up aint it?

    6. Damn, they extended the contest through the holiday? I’m still missing sleep from recording through the weekend, and trying to make the deadline. Got my joint in Sunday at after 1am…had to be to work at 6am in the morning. Its all good, I would do it all over again, but now the lazy mufukahs that dont give a damn about a deadline can put that extra time in. I might just do the same and re submit…fuk it…may the best win!

    7. I wonder if DJ Tazamatic knows Justice League has album placements for Young Jeezy, T.I., Keyshia Cole, Lloyd Banks, Rick Ross, Mary J. Blige (they won a GRAMMY for it), The Game, Plies, Young Buck, J. Holiday, Lil Scrappy, BG, Fabolous, Maino, Bun B, and Trina.

      I’d say they’re pretty mainstream.

Btw, Prote-J will make the top 5 of this contest.

    8. Hopefully they get to listen to all the submissions. Ive heard some great songs submitted by other artist that are remarkable I just pray theres get listened to.

      1. That shit sucks dog sorry. and how u gonna act like u in the recording booth with no headphones on hahahahaha smh and u did ur chorus on the wrong part. no hate tho

      1. stop posted ur shit on ur fucking site amatures. its disrepsect to the winners. its taking away from the point. now the winner gets a track a bunch a wack niggas already ruined.stick to yalls day job

    9. I don’t know about this contest something just doesn’t add up to me, they totally picked people who have some type of industry connections, no hard feelings tho, but I think this contest was some sucker shit IMO.

    10. tre seven’s got crooks gear in a lot of his videos and shit. he also promotes it on his twitter. this comp looks like an inside job.

      1. On the contrary this was a legit contest…My dude B-Ez did what everybody else did…submitted his track and got selected…and he doesnt know anybody from Justice League or HiphopDx…step your rap game up homie…

    11. Much respect to the finalists. Regardless of how they were chosen, they made it. And on that note, follow me @ twitter.com/bashwon and subscribe to my channel youtube.com/bashwon
