Today, HipHopDX unveiled its latest video in the 16 Bars series, filmed and produced by video director Court Dunn. With Roc Nation‘s young gun J. Cole [click to read] spitting his “A Star Is Born” verse acapella, Dunn and DX spoke about the project and the video.
“One of the great things about shooting a series like 16 Bars is meeting and building with new artists. As a huge fan of The Warm Up [click to listen], I jumped at the opportunity to work with J. Cole – who was kind enough to grace HipHopDX with a 16 of his choosing,” revealed Dunn. “We’re honored to present the bars that he chose! Big shout out to Roc Nation and many thanks to Mr. Cole and management.“
Dunn has shot video for such artists as Royce Da 5’9″, Rhymefest and Jake One.
