Cormega Talks Next Album “Cormega Raw Forever,” June 7 Release

Cormega finally provided fans with the title of his upcoming album; Cormega Raw Forever. The more interesting news that came from his interview with Legal Hustle TV, was that the double disc will feature an album of Mega Montana with a live band.

“One disc will be a best of, so whatever your favorite Mega shit is will most likely be on there,” the QB native explained. “The second disc will be me basically performing with a live band, like unplugged type shit. And then it’s going to have features from artists. So basically it’s like, imagine a mixtape with a live band playing behind it.”

He did reveal that Large Professor produced a single, but no word on other producers or guest appearances. Last summer Mega did give us some hints as to who would appear, and who he would like to appear.

“I’ve got somebody from Wu-Tang on it, that’s all I’ll say, and I’ve got somebody from QB on it, one of the best spitters from Queensbridge on there, too. In the future, who I wouldn’t mind collabing with, people like Scarface, Lauryn Hill, Slick Rick,” he said. “I always liked doing shit with M.O.P., Mobb Deep…there’s a lot of people…I would like to do a Dogg Pound track. I’ve worked with Kurupt before.”

The album is tentatively scheduled to drop this summer.

    (February 25)

    1. I second Crystal’s comment.

Let’s not keep it to ourselves, people.

      Spread the word!

Re-brainwash the brainwashed if you have to!

    2. I’m guessing the QB artist will be Tragedy Khadafi. Which is my favorito.

And Raekwon is collaborating with everyone and their moms, including Justin Beiber. So, he’s the likely Wu candidate.

Run it, Mega Mon-TANA. Get back to those QB roots, and bring that Realness back.

    3. it’s about goddamn this site did a piece on a REAL rapper. i’m lookin foward to hearin this album.

    4. man if there is gonna be an wu affiliate it should be killa sin those niggas from killarmy are sharp but never got any love…don’t believe me go to yt and type in killarmy shootout check for the last verse….although that nigga can never stay out of jail

      1. Killa Sin is nasty with.. I love his style. I actually bought their first album Killa Sin was the nicest to me, out the group.

      2. oh yeah, those scrubs from killarmy are much better than ghostface or gza…get a fucking life dude killarmy is fucking horrible

    5. I DONT EXPECT A FAKE NICCA TO FEEL THIS … LOOK IN MY EYES.. STARE AT THE REALNESS!!! cant wait for this shitt .. verbal graffiti is definitely gonna be on the ‘best of’ CD.

    6. was expecting a real album. Not no best of shit and him with a live band. I’m talking some tracks Mega going ham on. With some conscious dept type of album. Not looking forward to this. disappointed.

    7. Its good to see Mega etched out a career for himself. He’s always been a ill MC. He comes from the best draft class of MCs in my opinion. 93-96 era.

    8. everyone be so quick to diss the “live band” fuck u one track minders. You ever hear that jay-z unplugged album with the roots drummer? You guys got no interest in music outside of just beats. Mega always no how to stay fresh and keep it real. “Fuck live band shit” fuck you fucks for having such a weak musical mind. Expand your learning for once
