Cordae and his girlfriend Naomi Osaka are set to become first-time parents later this year with the tennis superstar revealing she is pregnant.
Osaka went public with the news on Wednesday (January 11) with a photo of an ultrasound as the 25-year-old cleared up her playing career’s future and announced she’d be stepping away from tennis for the time being.

“Can’t wait to get back on the court but here’s a little life update for 2023,” she wrote to Twitter.
The four-time Grand Slam champion opened up further with a heartfelt note as she looks forward to the days of her child watching her dominate on the tennis court.

“The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun,” Osaka wrote.
“These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game l’ve dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom’ haha.”
She continued: “2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’II be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
Cordae is yet to publicly react to the news of him becoming a father. The Grammy-nominated rapper and Osaka went public with their relationship in 2019 and dispelled breakup rumors that flooded the internet over the summer.

Cordae had a busy 2022 himself with the release of his sophomore From A Birds Eyes View album which arrived last January and saw him set out on a subsequent North American tour in support of the project later into the year. The LP peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200.
