While he prefers to be a recluse, the Griselda rapper knew revealing his struggles could help one of his fans watching the doc in the future.

“The nights of barely any sleep and shit like that and the mental shit that come with this stuff,” he said. “But I really still didn’t realize it that I was having mental health issues in the recent years. I was going through life and thinking everything is okay, but you gotta look at everything around you and all the signs around you.

“[I was] getting upset so fast. Because when I get upset, I kinda shut down. Shutting down leads to me not being creative. Why am I not being creative? Why am I not inspired? Why does this bother me so much? The answers to a lot of my shit is that I still haven’t fully healed mentally from my trauma.”

Conway suffers from Bell’s Palsy stemming from a 2012 shooting that left the right side of his face paralyzed. He opened up about the medications he was on in recovery only adding to his trauma as well, but therapy has been the best medicine for him these days.

“Right now, the process is talking with people,” the 41-year-old explained. “Talking with my therapist and being vocal and having dialogue and stuff. It helped a lot. It helped me identify that something was there. Once you know something is there, then you know how to treat it. It made me feel I could be better than I am. I’m not my best self yet, but once I get better I’ll be unstoppable.”
