Common To Release An EP, Album & Mixtape In 2013

To promote his upcoming movie Luv, Common stopped by “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” and revealed that he’s got a busy 2013 in the works. When asked about his upcoming music projects, the Chi-town native said that he plans to drop an EP to accompany the film by the end of January, followed by his first-ever mixtape in April and then an album in September.

“I’m coming out with an EP at the end of this month that’s accompanying the movie Luv, and then I’ve got a mixtape – the first mixtape I’ve ever done in my life – will be coming out in April,” he said. “And then an album in September.”

In September, the veteran emcee announced that he planned to drop his tenth album in January 2013, stating that he was going to work with No I.D. and hoped to collaborate with Kanye West.

    1. Lookin forward to this. Common has always been one of my favorites. The Dreamer/The Believer was pretty dope.

    2. Drake has sold 20 million recocords in da us. hiz debut album Thank Me Later is 9x timez platinum. Common havent sold 500k in hiz life. lmao… swag

      1. Drake sold 20 million?? He actually has sold just 5 million album in his career lol. Common has sold 3 million. Check before you comment.

      2. By the tone and choice of words you used in your post, I’m guessing you’re probably 16 years old. I highly doubt you’ve heard any of Common’s projects prior to last year, so you get a pass from me.

    3. He should collabo with Talib again. As for the news about him putting out new music, Common is pretty reliable when it comes to quality rap records. I don’t think there’s much to worry about here.

    4. Pretty dope Comm, hope it’s some lyrical heat. Man, he should hop back on with Hi-Tek again, they always dropped some bangers from back in the day!

    5. Thank goodness, some more of that real shit coming out in 2013. Cole, Kendrick, Pusha, Common, Big Sean, and many others. No more of that ignorant shit flooding the market
