Common will host the 2010 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, announced the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation yesterday (November 23).
The ceremony will be broadcast from the Ellipse at President’s Park in Washington, D.C. on public television on December 9 at 5:00 PM.
Maroon 5, B.B. King, Sara Bareilles, Jackie Evancho and Jim James will perform at the Lighting.
The news comes days after the announcement of Com’s upcoming memoir, One Day It’ll Make Sense.
