Tenured Michigan rapper Chris Orrick used to be known amongst his fans as Red Pill but these days, he’s applying the “real name, no gimmicks” to his artistry in music.
Today (May 4), he’s back with his new Mello Music Group release, Portraits, which boasts of lyrical contributions from Fashawn and Verbal Kent as well as production from Apollo Brown, Exile, Onra, L’Orange, Nolan the Ninja, among others.
In a 2016 interview with HipHopDX, Orrick spoke on his decision to make unapologetic unfrilled rap music saying, “I don’t really have aspirations to be a star, or at least in the way most people would define ‘stardom.’ I want to be big enough that I can support my family, make my life and my family’s better and easier, but still be able to live my life without the weird shit that comes with excessive fame and wealth.”

More like “Blue Pill”. This guy is controlled opposition.. a shill like (dis)Infowars’ Alex Jones. These guys avoid the JQ at all cost.
I am a big MMG fan, and really liked his album Look What This World Did to Us, and REALLY liked his Day Drunk EP, and who could forget his work with Apollo Brown on Ugly Heroes. But it’s hard to take artists seriously after they insult your political stance. If they have their own views which don’t align with yours, then fine, and it they are willing to have constructive discussions without taking personal shots, even better, but when they say shit like “Anyone who believes or votes for this is stupid/a bad person” or “if these are your beliefs I don’t want you enjoying my music or supporting me” its really divisive. Red Pill has done both on his Facebook page, and he changed his rap name because of the “red pill” being associated with liberals who look into conservative beliefs and realizing they aren’t so bad after all, but he claimed it was associated with hateful views or something, once again indicating that he has no interest in being challenged on his preconceived notions. I try really hard to separate the person and their mean-spirited lack of curiosity from the art they create, so I will probably end up checking this out, and hopefully enjoying it, but I really have lost respect for the guy after he insulted half his fan base and thought he could claim the moral high road.
He can claim whatever road he wants. That’s what is missing from this country today. Nobody can say what they want because people are too weak mentally to hear an opposing view and laugh it off and ignore it.
Taking the “red pill” means you start to realize how jevvs control all media, finance, entertainment, big tech, lobby for open borders and gun control, race mixing, LGBT shit, white genocide etc..
You are a miserable fxggot
neckbeard.
