Hip Hop is not Chris Brown’s redemption, however rappers are preventing the masses from throwing the onetime Jive Records superstar the deuce. Today, Brown released the remix to his Top 20 single “Deuces.” On the “Deuces (Remix)”
, five platinum emcees showed support to the Virginia native, including Drake, T.I., Kanye West, Fabolous and Outkast’s Andre 3000.
Both T.I. and Kanye West are familiar with power-packed collaborations. West’s “Monster”
released less than six weeks ago, featured Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver. T.I.’s 2008 hit “Swagger Like Us”
featured Jay-Z, West and Lil Wayne. Drake and West also appeared on Eminem’s “Forever”
, a chart-topping single from last year, appearing on More Than A Game soundtrack and the Refill Edition of Relapse. Although he’s worked with rappers throughout his five-plus year career, this collaboration is the first of its kind for the 21 year-old Brown, who was arrested for a February 2009 battery of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The collaboration comes with a Jay-Z and Kanye West album, Watch The Throne, tenatively planned for later this year. Jay-Z served as a one-time mentor to West at Roc-A-Fella Records, and the Brooklyn icon was reportedly blamed for blackballing Brown’s performance at the 2009 BET Awards.

Catching Breezy’s fall is exactly what is expected from his fellow artists. Besides isn’t this what other “Folks” do for fellowmen. Bush and Cheny stood together and dam near wrecked the country. I’m so proud of these men for reaching out to their fallen brother. You, the media tried but failed in persecuting this young man. One mistake and you treat him like its the worst thing ever done. Check the news every now and then…you judgmental people are repeat offenders.
R’sha, Not dissin or anything, but What does the former president have to do with what happened to chris brown? He did something wrong. he had to deal with it. hes a damn singer. thats it. He makes crap, I wont listen. We cant be the perpetual victim all the damn time. And CB beat up a woman. Dont excuse that. If it was someone close to you(or you), you’d not wanna hear that extra stuff. All he does is sing. These people are entertainers. thats it. they dont have to have a degree, dont gotta have morals, or anything, their job is to effin entertain me at my whim. Period. Hes not Pastor brown, or Dali Brown lama. he sings. and because he doesnt doesnt excuse the crime. Its people who do real stuff for a real reason, who dont get a second chance. by getting it doesn’t mean anything more than take the op and dont blow it. the song jams. 3stacks is on it.
Now hopefully youre not offended by a differing opinion. you know how sensitive people are these days.

although i feel where you comin from r’sha and respect that side of the argument, hhdx are faggot little gossip girls for reporting on such a weak issue in one of their articles. “acceptance into rap” what is rap in the physical clique form? how do you get accepted into rap ever? doesn’t everyone have haters that would beg to differ? all i’m saying is, could their ever be a completely unanimous and satisfying decision ever reached amongst everyone in “rap” (the crew)

If you hate him soo much, then why are you looking at news about him?
HE CANT SMACK AS MANY BITCHES AS HE LIKES AFTER HEARING THE DEUCES REMIX
I think its a great look to see Breezy get the support of all these rappers. What saddens me is the fact that it took a hit song from him before ppl started looking his way again. Dude is mega talented and yes he made a mistake with how that Rihanna thing went down (although we only looked at one side of the story but i guess that side was bad enough). He was young a foolish and I think as we give him time to mature he will progress to an even bigger plateau. More power to Chris Brown… do u ting.
It was the “2010 BET Awards” when Jay-Z was blamed for blackballing Breezy. It wasn’t the “2009” awards!
