Chris Brown, Rihanna Reportedly Working Together Again

Just as more details emerge in the alleged assault on Rihanna by boyfriend Chris Brown, another shocking detail in the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga was revealed to E! News this week.

According to a source, Brown and Rihanna are working together on a track that will be featured on Chris Brown’s upcoming album.

“They’ve been working on it together,” a studio source told E! News.

The song is allegedly being produced by Polow Da Don and Adonis Shropshire. The two producers have reportedly been joined by Brown and Rihanna in a studio in Santa Monica, California for several days now.

A representative for Brown has yet to respond while a rep for Rihanna explained that, “We have no comment. The only statements are the ones that have been released thus far.”

Brown’s arraignment on charges of assault and criminal threats has been postponed until April 6. His album Graffiti is expected to be released towards the end this year.

Update:  According to CNN.com, a source close to producer Polow Da Don verified on Thursday that the rumored record is indeed completed. The source did not provide any further details, as she was not authorized to speak more on the matter.

My heart goes out to both Chris and Rihanna for what has happened in the past,Polow said recently. “They are both great artists to work with, and I wish them well.

Facing two felony charges and almost five years in prison, Chris Brown has not only been the latest object of media scrutiny, but has also opted to withdraw his nominations for two Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He had been nominated for “Favorite Song,” and “Favorite Male Singer.”

Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated,” a spokesman for Brown said. “While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.

Chris Brown is expected in court on April 6 for his formal arraignment.
