Chris Brown Preps DVD, Summer Tour

Chris Brown wowed many crowds this year. The 16-year-old phenom became one of R&B’s biggest sensations as he dropped hit after hit. Drawing comparisons to Usher and B2K, the rising singer drove fans to sold out shows across the world.

For his first performance DVD, titled Chris Brown’s Journey, the young star will showcase his singing and dancing abilities.

The DVD will contain footage from Brown’s concerts from places including Japan and the United Kingdom. Adding to the footage will be a chapter on the 2006 Grammy Awards which he was able to attend.

In addition, expect videos for his hits like Run It!, Yo! Excuse Me Miss and Gimmie Dat. Featuring acts like Lil Wayne, the DVD will also have behind the scenes material.

As if that wasn’t enough for the young performer, Brown will kick off his Summer tour with Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo, Dem Franchise Boyz, and Juelz Santana.
