Chris Brown has expanded his business portfolio by launching NAMI, a 3-D printed footwear line — check out a sneak peak of the slides below.

On Sunday (April 30), the Virginia-bred singer announced via Instagram the upcoming release of his exclusive shoe capsule collaboration with multi-media company, The Auracles, and 3D print designer Nos Ailes.

A few animated specs are shown in the post to give you an idea of what the slides would look like. The footwear’s exact release date is unknown, because the singer mentioned May without a date — however, they are likely to be released in the near future.

“THE OFFICIAL “NAMI “ SLIDES DROPPING IN MAY… @theauracles_ @nosailes @deano_32,” he wrote in the caption.

In a separate post, Brown gave fans another peek at the shoes. As he noted in the comments, he has been developing the shoes for nearly two-and-a-half years.

In other related news, the singer recently received some high praise from Pharrell. While performing at Skateboard P’s annual festival in Virginia Beach, Pharrell praised him for his singing and dancing talents, as well as his music videos.

Like Pharrell, Chris Brown is also from Virginia, coming from the small town of Tappahannock.

Pharrell previously collaborated with Chris Brown in 2009 on Teriyaki Boyz’s “Work That!” The song was produced by The Neptunes and appeared on the group’s Serious Japanese album.
