Chief Keef Released On $2,000 Bond Following South Dakota Arrest

After being arrested in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Monday morning (June 12), Chief Keef is again a free man.

The Chi-Town rapper was reportedly released on $2,000 bond Tuesday (June 13) after appearing in front of a judge. In court, the rapper plead not guilty to the possession charges he was slapped with after airport security found four blunts and an edible in his backpack.

Keef was charged with possession of two ounces to less than a half pound of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, but a rep for the artist believes the charges will be lessened.

Keef, who just released his Thot Breaker album, apparently forgot the items were in his carry-on bag.

The moment things got real for Keef at the small Midwest airport was captured in a photo obtained by DJ Akademiks. In the photo, Keef is seen standing at security as a TSA agent searches through his bag.

Another photo shows Keef in a jail uniform, shortly after his arrest.

At the time of his arrest, Keef had just finished performing at the Ramkota Hotel for a post-event concert for an anti-bully celebrity basketball game.
