The Breakfast Club has had a number of rotating guest hosts including Claudia Jordan, Jess Hilarious, Jason Lee and Loren LoRosa over the last year and a half without announcing a permanent replacement.

At one point, Hilarious announced that she had won the gig and that it was “official,” but this has never been confirmed by the show.

Asked by TMZ about the host situation on Tuesday (January 16), Charlamagne said: “I would really like to know. I just came from downstairs. It was just me and Envy doing the show again.

“Everybody saw us rotating guest hosts last year and we said we were gonna start 2024 off with a new host and that hasn’t happened yet.”

The broadcaster also added that he was “not happy” with the situation and said there would be no more guest hosts.

“I am done with the rotating of the guest hosts,” he stated.

Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy had previously addressed the host situation while on air.

Charlamagne said on the January 10 edition of The Breakfast Club: “You know what I’m confused by? We spent all last year rotating guest co-hosts and I thought we was rotating guest co-hosts before we let God decide who was supposed to be in here. Now it’s 2024. What happened? Did we just say, ‘F it, there’s not gonna be another co-host?’”

He added: “Angela Yee, what I always say, is irreplaceable so it’s like the person that’s coming in here is not replacing anyone. If there’s somebody coming in here. That’s the whole point of me having this conversation. What the hell happened? I don’t know what the hell is happening.”

Since premiering in 2010, the show maintained the same hosting lineup until Yee’s departure. Charlamagne has also recently served as guest host of The Daily Show which is also searching for a permanent replacement for Trevor Noah.
