Chance The Rapper Teases His Big Screen Debut With “Slice” Clip

Chance The Rapper will make his feature film debut in the upcoming movie, Slice.

His role in the film was announced last year and the Chicago native took to Twitter earlier today (October 31) to share a clip from the movie, which was quietly shot over the summer in his Illinois hometown.

The film takes place in a “mysterious city, and centers around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Slice was written by Austin Vesely, a frequent collaborator of Chance The Rapper. Most recently, Vesely directed the music video for Chance’s “Angels” off the rapper’s Coloring Book project.

Check out a clip from Slice below.

Slice is reportedly set to be released during the second half of 2017.
