Chamillionaire along with The Energizer Company is in search of new talent. The “Energizer(R) e2(R) Titanium Technology(R) Freestylin’ Music Contest,” offers up and coming freestylers to show off their talent.

This is the second year for the contest. In 2006 thousands of young hopefuls demonstrated their talents in order to get a chance for a one-on-one meeting with rapper Slim Thug. This year the lucky winner will perform in front of Chamillionaire at the annual DUB Magazine’s 2007 Custom Auto Show in Atlanta.

Contestants can visit www.myspace.com/energizer until Apr.29 to enter the competition. Hopefuls have to download a beat featured on the site and record their own original lyrics then upload the finished product. Artists final songs can be no longer than two minutes.

Starting Apr.29 the five lucky semi-finalists will have their songs placed on the site where viewers will vote them down to two finalists. Finally, on May 7. Chamillionaire will pick one winner.

“Speaking the truth is what I do through my music,” Chamillionaire said. “Energizer provides a stage for underground talent to do the same. Let’s see who has what it takes to make it happen and get the chance to join me at the DUB Auto Show & Concert in Atlanta.”
