Celph-Titled & Buckwild To Release Follow-Up To “Nineteen Ninety Now”

Last year, Tampa, Florida emcee/producer Celph-Titled and Bronx, New York producer/deejay Buckwild released Nineteen Ninety Now on No Sleep Recordings. The album won the “Most Slept-On Album” in the 2010 HipHopDX Awards.

It appears that the 2010 album did not show all that the pair recorded together. On November 8, 2011, No Sleep will release double-album, Nineteen Ninety More. The 43 song collection – including album instrumentals and eight new songs, which feature new appearances by Cella Dwellas, Kwest Tha Madd Lad and another Florida emcee, Laws.

UPDATE: Celph-Titled reached out to HipHopDX to clarify that the 41 song collection is made up of eight new songs, not the original album as originally reported.

      1. Agree. “Gas Mask” was on its level probably, both of them were one of the dopest albums we’ve had these last years. It’s been a year since its release and I’m still bumping it every other day. “Nineteen Ninety Now” is a modern day classic in my book.

      2. You’re all correct in praisin’ last year’s Celph/Buckwild hook-up. The joint with Chino XL and Ap was probably my favourite ish on that record, the whole shit was dope though. Definitely gonna cop Vol. II.

    1. I was kind of disappointed with 199Now. I mean it was dope for sure, but i like Celph Titled the most when he’s pissed off over epic war soundtrack beats

    2. Sad Part is I live in Tampa and nobody down here knows about this dude, I’ve never heard nothing bout him offline, dead serious, When that Chick Khia came out with “My Neck My Back” she was from here and they played her shit all day on Wild 98.7, she had tons of shows in Ybor City that were sold out….. This dude, say his name and you can hear the crickets start chirping before someone knows who your talkin about, sad but true shit

Lookin forward to this album, last one was dope as hell

    3. I had heard of dude before, but never really listened to him. Started reading reviews about 1990 now and was drawn towards the fact that it was 1990’s hip hop beats. Bought the record and was fuckin impressed. Not only was the production gold, but Celph really shines on. Dude is an MC supreme. Its whack tho nobody real knows him. And by nobody I’m talkin mainstream radio. Lookin forwards to coppin this shit when it drops
