Hailing from my hometown of Philly, Cassidy aka “Da Problem” aka Barry Reese has made a name for himself in hip-hop before his current single “Hotel” rose to the top of the charts.
Ghostwriting for such artists as Eve and Jadakiss and appearing in the infamous Roc-A-Fella in studio battle with Freeway, Cassidy’s skills have earned him the nickname “Da Problem”( because he will give any MC a problem).
“People don’t take time on there songs. They stop concentrating on lyrics, but I put time and dedication into every line and every word. Some call me a punch line rapper–that’s just one of my styles I know I’m cocky and people view that as a problem. I know I’m smart” I don’t choose my battles, they come to me and I bite their hands off”. No doubt people will understand Look for Cassidy to showcase his “Split Personality” when it hits stores March 16th.
