Cardi B has a response for members of her Bardi Gang who are getting more and more intense with their demands for her long-awaited sophomore album.

In a post to X on Tuesday (October 29), a fan page – on behalf of the entire fandom – issued a deadline for the Bronx superstar to at minimum make an announcement about the LP.

“We BARDIGANG. Are giving you Cardi B until November 22nd to announce the album, or anything related to the album,” they wrote. “We have been constantly lied to for 6+ years, attacked and been bullied by YOU. We are your FANS, We are HUMANS, and we have FEELINGS. If not we will deactivate.”

Taking it in stride, Cardi quoted the tweet, adding the reply: “Lmaaaaaaooooooooooooooo yooo yall crazy.”

When another fan got serious and responded, “Girl, what’s funny?” Cardi continued to keep it lighthearted and quoted her own lyric from her early 2024 release, “Like What.”

“Bitches be laughing, like hoe what’s funny?”

Cardi B released her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, in April 2018 – making it over six and a half years since she’s released a full body of work.

Since last year, Bardi has promised her sophomore effort will drop in 2024, and despite giving birth to her third child and going through a divorce, she has been consistently posting from the studio in recent months.

Just hours after sharing photos of her newborn last month, Cardi took to X with: “Now is crunch time [album emoji] on my kids.”

Though she hasn’t released many details about her sophomore album, there were recently some hints as to what the title might be.

TMZ spotted that in July, Cardi’s company Washpoppin, Inc. applied for trademarks to two phrases, specifically wanting to use both in “Pre-recorded record albums featuring music,” among other related uses.

The phrases are “Defamation of character” and “Intrusive thoughts.”

In addition to albums, Cardi also wants to be able to use the phrases for music videos, “downloadable music files,” and more.

She also revealed that the photo shoot for the album artwork is completed, telling a fan on X in September: “Album covers are taken. I just don’t know which to pick.”
