Cardi B is clapping back at fans who suggested she had an ulterior motive with a recent set of maternity photos she shared.
The Bronx-bred superstar shared a photo set to Instagram on Sunday (September 1), which found her on a motorcycle on a nondescript New York City street.

“Wanna meet my little boo boo soo bad already,” she wrote in the caption.
Fans were quick to note what Cardi and her photographer apparently missed, however: the word ‘pedophile’ was spray painted on a wall behind her. With Barbz being on high alert due to the rapper’s longtime feud with Nicki Minaj, as well as the charges of sexual assault on a minor that both her husband and brother have, many assumed that Cardi was throwing shots.

But she let it be known that was not the case.
“First of all we literally picked a random street because paparazzi was hounding us everywhere.. this was supposed to be my original first picture and we had to edit the photos in minutes because the shoot got leaked,” she clapped back on X. “Didn’t even have time to go over every detail because people were busy trying to expose my pregnancy as ‘aha’ moment…Second I’m ALWAYS with the shits but I’m not using MY MATERNITY shoot to be funny. Are you dumb??”

When another person called her excuse “bs” and noted she had a whole team to catch the alleged mistake, Cardi continued her clapback.
“A team?? Btch my makeup artist touched up the picture because we didn’t have time for all that, it says the date and time nobody was paying attention to the graffiti… second if I wanted to be petty I would’ve posted a lot of memes last week.. I KEEP TELLIN YALL TO LEAVE ME THE FUK ALONE !! If I’m saying I’m not on that time DONT MAKE ME GET ON THAT TIME. Unrist yourself!!”

Cardi B’s back and forth with fans came just after she and estranged husband Offset came together to throw an airplane-themed party for their son, Wave.
Grownup guests chowed down on food from chef Franklin Rosario, while the younger ones got sustenance from MrBeast Burger.
Cardi’s decision to file for divorce for Offset (for a second time) was reported on August 1 by TMZ, with the outlet claiming that the Bronx rap star’s decision isn’t related to cheating rumors, which have plagued their seven-year relationship.
A source close to the couple said at the time that the divorce filing had been “a long time coming” and Cardi and Offset have simply been growing apart for a while.

The insider added that the Hip Hop power couple made an effort to reconcile earlier this year, but were unable to work through their issues.
While the split is described as amicable, Cardi has reportedly already hired a high-powered divorce lawyer and is seeking primary custody of their two children, six-year-old Kulture and three-year-old Wave.
