Cam’ron isn’t one to let a mention of his name pass unnoticed, so it only makes sense that he’s used a namedrop in Lil Yachty and J. Cole‘s recent collab “The Secret Recipe” as inspiration to set off a rhyme of his own.

Killa Cam shared his version of “The Secret Recipe” via Instagram on Monday (October 16). The video starts with Cole’s mention of Cam and fellow It Is What It Is co-host Ma$e (“I dine on your favorite, one verse’ll take his breath/ I probably put more n-ggas on pause than Cam and Mason Beth'”).

It goes from there into Cam’ron standing by an elevator bank, dressed in jeans and a green Army-style jacket. He makes a nod to the outfit in the song, rhyming: “Hell up in Harlem, but listen, I gave Harlem hell/ So I’m dressed like Nas in ’94, ain’t hard to tell” — a reference to Nas’ near-identical outfit in the video for his 1994 track “It Ain’t Hard to Tell.”

You can see the clip below.

The early part of the track finds Cam taking J. Cole’s mention of “Cam and Mason Beth'” and spinning that rhyme scheme out to his usual absurd places.

“Stay content, raise the rent, we living on straight cement,” he rhymes. “I lament, but dread, in your forehead I will make a dent.”

Later on, he nods to his relationship with O.J. Simpson, a contributor to Cam and Ma$e’s aforementioned sports talk show.

“With O.J. in the Maybach, rolling the Fronto wrap/ Pulled that shit over like, ‘Juice, where the Bronco at?” he spits. For longtime fans, he even revisits the “Karl Lagerfeld”/”Gargamel” rhyme he first showcased in his 2004 track “Soap Opera.

The video ends with an excerpt of another song, “Get Mine Regardless,” from Cam’s recent Lost Files Vol. 1 project. For this part of the video, Cam does a hilarious dance while wearing a Freddy Krueger mask and glove — arguably Hip Hop’s funniest showcase of the Nightmare on Elm Street villain since “A Nightmare On My Street.”
