Cam’ron and Ma$e are pulling no punches with Season 2 of It Is What It Is as embattled NFL Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson joined the show.

Juice appeared on the latest episode of the Harlem rap duo’s sports debate show on Tuesday (September 5), just one day after fellow former football star Antonio Brown’s guest cameo.

Rocking a golf polo repping his alma mater University of Southern California Trojans over a video call from the comfort of his own home, O.J. dished on a few football topics around the NFL during his 17-minute appearance.

Simpson showed support for running backs — the position he played for the Buffalo Bills — like New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley and Las Vegas Raiders back Josh Jacobs, who have been in contractual disputes with their teams as organizations have been reluctant to sign running backs to long-term deals.

“Eliminate the franchise tag for the running backs,” he implored the NFL. “You can’t make them subject to the franchise tag.

“We have the Constitution, the greatest piece of legislation ever written, but we have amendments… They got to do something to rectify this inequity.”

As far as his favorite running backs these days, Juice listed Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffrey.

“Saquon, I often tell people… you put us in the same situation, the only guys I’d be competing with are Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers and maybe Eric Dickerson,” the Heisman Trophy-winner said. “I would certainly throw Barkley into that argument.”

Fortunately for O.J., Cam’ropn and Ma$e steered clear of any controversial topics pertaining to his past during the segment.

Meanwhile, Cam and Murda announced last month that they had signed an eight-figure partnership between It Is What It Is and Underdog Fantasy.

They didn’t put an exact dollar amount on it at the time, but in a recent song snippet from his upcoming mixtape The Lost Files (out September 8), Cam claimed it was worth $30 million.

“I turn your little princess into a happy ho/ ‘It Is What It Is,’ $30 million, el rápido!” he rapped on the track, before adding: “They threw us $3 million, man, I threw it back (huh?)/ They looked at me like I looked at Ma$e, ‘What we gon’ do with that?”

Fans can expect plenty more special guests throughout Season 2 of It Is What It Is as the NFL football season kicks off this week.
