Cam’ron has seemingly responded to Jim Jones after he threw shade at Ma$e during a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.

The “We Fly High” hitmaker appeared as a guest on the popular morning radio show last Friday (April 21), where he made it clear he has no intention of patching things up with the former Bad Boy rapper, despite Cam choosing to forgive him.

“I don’t care about Ma$e. I don’t care for Ma$e too much. Tell Ma$e go say some prayers,” he said bluntly when DJ Envy asked about the status of their relationship.

Jones did, however, praise Cam’ron and Ma$e’s sports talk show, It Is What It Is, and their basketball talents growing up.

“They’re definitely very funny. I can’t take that way from them,” he added. “And they’re very knowledgeable about basketball, they both grew up playing basketball. Ma$e was cool, Cam was definitely had a chance to go to the NBA. I can’t say that with no hate or nothing in my heart. Boy was dumb nice.

“Since we was younger, starting at the Rucker age 15, they called him All-AmeriCam. Him and Ma$e went to the championship at Madison Square Garden and things like that, so they was some ballers. To see them on the television show is pretty dope, I hope they get a check for that.”

While Ma$e has yet to address Jim Jones’ comments, Cam’ron seemingly responded to his fellow Diplomat on Monday (April 24) by posting a message on Instagram that read: “Anybody who says ‘I can’t hate’ really wants to ‘hate.'”

“Message from @darealdukedagod,” Cam wrote in his caption, referencing the longtime Dipset affiliate.

Despite the cryptic nature of his post, fans in his comments section were quick to connect the dots.

“@jimjonescapo this one for you beloved,” one fan wrote, tagging Jim Jones, while another commented: “Hating ass Jim Jones [crying face emoji] was saying tht on the breakfast club interview.”

Another follower made their feelings towards Capo known by writing: “JIM JONES ALWAYS HATED. How you gon be mad at ppl making peace and making bread?????? Put your ego aside jimmy…you were the fuel that kept their friendship fucced up for 20 years. GROW TF UP JIM.”

Despite growing up in Harlem together and achieving enormous success as members of Dipset, Cam’ron and Jim Jones have shared a rocky relationship over the years.

The pair have not only taken shots at each other on social media and in interviews, but Capo has rubbed shoulders with Cam’s rival 50 Cent while Cam allegedly once removed Jim from one of his songs.

During an emotional and revealing interview with Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex in 2017, Jones delved into their issues and accused Cam’ron of not properly paying him and disrespecting his contributions to the group.

“I put my life on the line for this,“ he said. “I been to trial for this. I been on America’s Most Wanted for this. I been on Gang Files for this. I been on everything you can name, so when people play on me, I get real emotional ’cause I operate off emotions.”

Shortly after, Killa Cam told his side of the story in a lengthy Instagram Live broadcast, during which he said their relationship “collapsed” after he pressed up T-shirts ridiculing Jones for spending lots of money on his girlfriend, Chrissy Lampkin, when they first met years ago.

The T-shirts said “Tricky Ricky A.K.A. Jim Jones Is A Trick” on the front, and on the back, there was a list of all their friends in jail, implying that the money was going to Jones’ new woman instead of helping their friends who were locked up.

“I wasn’t trying to disrespect him because I didn’t know their relationship would grow to be what it was,” Cam explained. “It was just a joke. He took that shit serious, b. And to this day, I be man enough. I apologized about doing that. I really do apologize.”

More recently, Jim Jones reflected on his turbulent friendship with Cam’ron on his collaborative album with Hitmaka, Back In My Prime, which dropped in March.
