Cam’ron has dragged Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons throughout the 2022/23 NBA season, and now he’s had enough after losing money.
In the latest segment of his sports talk show It Is What It Is, Killa Cam had to pay up on a bet he lost to his Harlem brethren Ma$e, who was a special guest on the episode.

The Dipset leader bet that Ben Simmons would average 10 points a game this season. The 26-year-old is currently averaging 6.9 points, and with only a few more weeks left in the season and a back injury keeping him out of action, it’s unlikely he’ll push his scoring average to double digits.
“I just need my money. You a man of your word,” Ma$e told Cam, who was reluctant to pay up. “I just need my $1. You promised me I would get a dollar. Ben Simmons was not averaging 10 points a game.”

Cam eventually handed over the dollar bill and proceeded to call out Ben Simmons for making him lose money on what appeared to be a sure bet for a player of his caliber.
“Ben Simmons, at this point, you costing me money. I don’t know where you gonna go, but get the fuck out of New York,” the Come Home With Me rapper said. “Personally, we don’t really want you around. You’re a disgrace.
“Philly, y’all are suckas for shipping him over to us. Y’all can take him. Personally, you fucked your whole stock up. I don’t know anybody that want you, but you can leave New York. You costing me money.”

This isn’t the first time Cam’ron has gone after Ben Simmons and his mediocre play this season. The Nets had a tumultuous start to the campaign, and Cam wasted little time pinning blame on Simmons.
“Look I’m gonna be real brief and short, pause. Ben Simmons, stop wasting my n-ggas’ time,” Cam said on Instagram, referring to Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. “I’m dead fucking serious. Stop playing with my n-ggas, man. You’ve got n-ggas playing two-on-fucking-five out there. Stop playing with n-ggas, man.”
He added: “If you don’t want to fucking play basketball, go to fuck with the Kardashians, the Jenners, whoever the fuck you with. Now when we watch it on TV it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s all good.’ I went to the fucking game last night and I watched you shoot an airball layup.”
Killa Cam also wanted everyone to know that the message came straight from him and not from Simmons’ former teammates Durant or Irving.

“KD, Kyrie, I know ya’ll may not approve this message. This isn’t on them. This is on me,” he continued. “Stop playing with my n-ggas! Real talk, man. If you don’t want to play basketball, go do what the fuck you want to do. Stop playing with n-ggas man! That shit got me mad! I could suit up and get two points, six fouls.”
