Busta Rhymes Still Planning “E.L.E. II: Final World Front” Release

Busta Rhymes announced earlier today in a Tweet that comedian Chris Rock will be playing a major role on his upcoming album Extinction Level Event II. Rock, who has starred in films such as Head of State and most recently Grown Ups, will be narrating the sequel to Busta’s hit 1998 album. Busta also posted a picture of the two stars in the studio (see link below).

    1. Busta puttin’ out a sequel now too?? SMH. Hip hop is the biggest copycat league next to the nfl…lol. Havin’ chris rock narrate the album is not a good idea.

      1. Right, Big Homie.

Sadly enough its been like that for years, so get used to it. We are followers not leaders or originators no more.

Styles that been bitten just in the 90’s
Das Efx – Everybody was iggying
        Wu Tang – Gritty sound
Biggie – Players – Jiggy era
        2PAC – Thug life

    2. its been 15 years and now this washed up nicca who signed to cash money wants to put out a sequel? when will these rappers stop it. these albums aint real sequels they just taking their most successful albums and putting a 2 on the title. fuck outta here with that shit.

    3. kids said ppl posting faceebook mixed bags of chips at them making monster faces at them and other ppl

    4. if she falls from the sky she walk thousand miles just to see aaliyah cryy.ballingggg back forth we fly high

    5. WELCOME TO FREDDYS NAIL SHOP RITE BY JASONS MICHEALS AND OTHER FINE STORES WHERE WER EVEN CLOSER THEN U THINK

      1. delays usually come down from the higher ups at the record label. They base it on buzz and radio play, which busta has none of. Sorry to say but he is not gonna sell sh*t.

      2. where did you tell us that?.. i don’t see you anywhere else in this article’s comment section.. and with that twerkit song, i don’t think this album’s going to be perfect.. busta fell off a while back anyway.. feature-wise, he’s still good, but by himself, nah..

    6. as an account for Roc Nation, i can tell you that busta came beggin for a deal but me and Hov sent him over to Baby since they have a ton of weak rappers. Hova sh*ts on YMCMB with his wallet

    7. maybe da first part was wack. but Busta is on YMCMB now. diz gon be another classic executive produced by my close friends Birdman and Ronald. swag

    8. This website use to be dope, especially the comments. Now it’s just filled with trolls and fake ass A&Rs talking about a niggas buzz, sales and how much is he recouping for the label. Who gives a fuck, this ain’t no marketing and sales website.

Is the shit going to be good or not? That’s why the game is fucked up now. For a genre that celebrates independence, hip-hopers sure do dickride a lot.

    9. this niggas a disgrace if you think this nigga is still great slap your self 10 times for being stupid.

    10. The First ELE was a classic i expect this album to be the same but chris narrating the album is interesting lets see how he does before we assume it wont mesh well because busta always brings that lyrical content every album

    11. Cool as long as he’s tryna drop an album with the style and quality of the first E.L.E. and not just doing the sequel thing to get some attention.

    12. just like movies album sequels are usually whack and not even close to being as good as the original. Busta has so much talent it’s shame that he couldn’t ever make a classic, or at least an all around good album. he always has a a couple hits and a lot of misses. He tried way to hard to be mainstream but i still have some respect for the man.

      1. haha i was actually gonna say except for OBCL2. Busta aint Rae though and hes definitely not Nas so i can’t see it

    13. people would say that my hope is broken
but my faith is present as long as my notebooks open
i was a broke boy hopin, that id find my way
wishin i could call my momm n say i got signed today
but in reality im still miles away
my tank n bank account empty i should just hide away
but instead i that god n reach to the sky for a handshake
i could give a damn about how much money that a man makes
i guess thats easy to say when im broke
searchin for a rolled up dollar bill used to sniff sum coke
i could give a fuck if they say that this kids a joke
prolly just crack a smile as i exhale my smoke

    14. back on my bs was wack as hell. busta still has some dopeness in his system he just really needs to be back on his bullshit.
