I have never been to a festival before, nor a concert of this magnitude. Go rowing up in the Boston Area, it is tough to attend concerts in Cali, the Midwest or down south. As a young artist looking to get into the music industry who’s never really had the money to experience something like this, going to made in America for the first time would be an incredible opportunity. Honestly, I saw some really good reasons out there, but I think I should win because I’m trying to make the most out of my time in America! See, I’m an international student from Kenya, and I graduate this December (bless up). But the huge downside to this is that my student visa will become void upon graduation, and I’ll likely never come back to the US after that, so I’m really trying to live up my last few months in the states. And what better way to do that than to go wild at a festival that actually has the word “America” in it?! I’ve wanted to go to MIA since the event first came out, however I could never make it because of school, work, and rotations. Man music is so vital to me and influences my age group immensely, Im 20 and its all we talk about. I missed out on Lil uzi and coldplays concerts in june and july because I take care of my father almost full time. Made in america is rolling around during a time where I have a break and it would be a dream to experience the line up that is going to be there. Rihanna, Travis scott, Coldplay, Uzi and more in the same place? That’ll probably never happen again! I love my dad but I missed out on so much this summer and this might be the last chance I have to make this summer a good one! My boyfriend and I live in a tiny, rural farm town in PA. We’re pretty much the only people here that listen to hip hop or rap, but it’s one thing we love and bond over. Going into our senior years of high school, Jordan and I use music as our stress relievers; for him, focusing on getting a basketball scholarship, and for me, focusing on getting into my dream school, the University of Chicago. Somehow, after almost 2 years we still are shamed by our peers for being an interracial couple. He has never been to a concert before and this weekend being our 2 year anniversary, I would love more than anything to give this experience to him. We would buy the tickets ourselves but alas, we are poor high school students. Last year I sat on the other side of the PMA with a bunch of strangers and listened to queen B belt out flawless. (Basically every girls anthem) due to many unfortunate events, last year I countlessly tried to overcome my depression. But in that moment I found solace within this crowd, as a group we sang together an anthem that empowers all of the women in the world everyday. And since then, I have found a certain peace within myself that I owe a little love to Beyoncé and all of those beautiful people that I met that day. And so, I will not list to you that I love all of the musical acts performing this weekend. But I will tell you if I get the chance to find myself in the center, with the livelihood of the crowd, with the energy and the vibrance of the made in America festival. I will always keep this with me. A stepping stone in my adventure to remind me of happiness ahead. #flawless
I’d take the girl I’ve had a crush on for years because we both love Coldplay, we were supposed to see them last month but then it didn’t work out and I had to sell my tickets :/ I’ve only ever been on one date with her, but I know she’d go see Coldplay with me!
I just need to see my girl Rihanna. I’ve been to her Monster Tour, Concert for Valor, and Anti Word Tour. The last tour I almost met her through her bodyguard but I got tired of waiting in the cold for 3 hours after the show. I feel like its DESTINED this time. I have so much of her merchandise, all her albums, everybody who knows me knows I LOVE Rihanna. Like I need to be at Made in America. I haven’t got a ticket because I’m a broke college student unfortunately. This would be the a great way to spend the Holiday. I like Bryson Tiller & a bunch of others performing, but Rih gives me life!
Made in America has been a tradition for my boyfriend for 3 years now (he lives in philly, I live in Cleveland). Due to financial reasons, unfortunately I was yet again unable to go this year with him (I’ve never been to a music festival before!) There is nothing better than seeing artists play live, experiencing the emotions they themselves felt when they were writing/recording the songs; I think music festivals celebrate that, as well as the idea that music can bring us all together. I’d love to experience this in the beautiful city of Philadelphia.
My husband is an officer in the Army and labor day weekend is one of the very few holidays he can truly take off. We’ve made MIA Fest a tradition for the past few years but this year we hit some bumps in the road financially. This would be our last MIA Fest before he gets deployed to Iraq in January. :/

I feel like I deserve to win the tickets because I’m an upcoming musician and this’ll help me learn and hear others perform and how I can grow as an artist myself,Also.Rihanna and Chance The Rapper ,and SZA are my favorite artists. Because Coldplay is the band that made me fall in love with music and they are currently on what is rumored to be their last tour. This will be their last show in the US and it would mean the world to me to see them outdoors at Made In America!
I should be the lucky winner because I have been up at school for years and never had the chance to go. Now that I have graduated, this would be the perfect opportunity. Rihanna is my favorite female singer and I would LOVE to see her live! This would change my life.
I should win tickets because ive been working my ass off trying to save money and pay for bills, schools, rent, etc. My gf has been a ride or die for me and I wanted to get something nice for her for her 21st bday. She loves rhianna, but we really wanna go because i bought tickets for us to see Bryson Tiller and Travis Scott last November off stubhub and we were denied at the door because they were fake tickets. This would be a nice way to make her happy for her bday and turn our luck around.
I would absolutely love to win these tickets because it would mean so much for me to witness such musical diversity in one place (my own city!). I’ve never been able to attend Made in America for financial reasons and this year especially hurt because one of my favorite living humans, Rihanna, will be performing. Rihanna has taught me so much about myself and not to care at all about how much society hates an outspoken woman. It would mean the world to me to be in her presence and to be able to finally enjoy this incredible festival in my hometown.
I would love to win the tickets because I have 15 yr. Old daughter who attends Roxborough highschool had won Beyonce tickets for perfect attendance last year from her school. That would’ve been her very 1st concert. She waited in freezing cold rain for 2hrs. and left bcuz Beyonce ddnt arrive yet and she was extremely cold. She left the Lincoln financial center only to here the crowd screaming Beyonce as she came out. Because she left the gate’s she wasn’t allowed to go back in. She was devasted and we still have the smeared rained on tickets for which would have been her very first concert. She tears up every time the concert is mentioned. And would really like to surprise her and take her to her very first concert. She definitely deserves it she made the honor roll twice this school year, does volunteering for community activities, she’s in the JROTC program at Roxborough high. She has great grades and her teachers adore her. And we’re both Jay z, jcole, and rhianna fans.
