The R&B singer unveiled the song on Tuesday (January 8), with the single artwork inspired by the Grand Theft Auto video game series.

Over upbeat, subterranean production from Sango, Tiller addresses his critics while showcasing his rapping ability, namedropping a certain JAY-Z in the process.

“Learned from all my enemies, laughing at my mini me’s/ I wish you could see the texts that these n-ggas sent to me/ Hov telling me I’m nice, are you kidding me?” he spit.

The release adds to a busy few weeks for Bryson Tiller, who recently jumped on a remix of Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” with a raunchy verse.

On the song, he spits: “I’m sliding in, got one hand on her coochie/ Sticky, no biggie, it’s juicy, thinking she dreaming.”

DJ Khaled once revealed he nearly broke into Tiller’s house in an effort to finish their hit collaboration with Rihanna, “Wild Thoughts”.

Appearing on Drink Champs in 2022, Khaled said: “So I called Bryson Tiller like, ‘Yo, good news. The RiRi vocals are in. Great news.’ I go to Bryson Tiller’s house in L.A., I play him the record, we all excited.

“[I’m like], ‘I need you to cut your vocals up because now the music’s pitched up, so you gotta cut your vocals up.’ Even me, I had to change my shit. He said, ‘No problem.’ I leave.

“I’m calling Bryson Tiller, my album’s coming out in like two weeks. ‘Yo bro, I need you to cut the vocals over, you know, Rihanna’s vocals are in. You hear that right?’ Everybody’s excited.”

He continued: “He’s not picking up his phone. You know, Bryson’s my brother. He had a surprise album coming out at the same time so he’s not picking up my phone. I need this done.

“I got fucking Rihanna vocals, one of the biggest records of my career. He’s not picking up the phone. I jump in my car, I drive to his house. He has a gate. I’m flashing my lights, honking my horn, sending texts, nobody’s replying.

“You think I’m playing with this shit? One thing about me, I don’t play no games. Eventually, shout out to Rich the Barber, he comes outside, Bryson comes out, they open the gate. I was already climbing the gate. You think I’m playing?”

“Wild Thoughts,” of course, was later released and featured on DJ Khaled’s 10th album Grateful. It became the biggest hit of Tiller’s career, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later being certified 6x platinum.
