Brother Ali & Fashawn Announce Spring Tour

Two artists who released critically-acclaimed independent albums in 2009 are veteran Brother Ali and relative rookie Fashawn. The Minneapolis and Fresno emcees (respectively) are joining forces to promote their latest albums.

Ali’s Us followed up his Spring EP, and featured appearances from Chuck D, Joell Ortiz and more, with production courtesy of Atmosphere’s Ant. Fashawn’s debut, Boy Meets World, was produced entirely by Exile, and was recently released to bonus-track double vinyl.

Both albums were among HipHopDX’s Top 25 Albums Of 2009.

    1. Man there are no Texas dates!!!! I understand though. Brother ali got no love here in houston when he came for the fresh air tour. People down here don’t understand hip-hop. There were literally only 50-60 people at the fresh air tour.

      1. dude i hear u i was so hoping they would come down here to wharehouse live and do a show im so disappointed plus when atmosphere came here last year i aint find out til day after 🙁 ya alot of people down here dont know music

      2. Yeah, it would have been nice to see more people at the Houston show, but at least those that did show up were enthusiastic and responsive. Plus it provided a more intimate performance, so it wasn’t all bad. Brother Ali even made a comment about it at the show. “I’m gonna tell you the truth about Houston. Its never one of the largest crowds on tour,” he said, “but its always one of the most warm and energetic and fun shows on tour. That’s the truth. Plus Scarface is from here, so you know what’s up. You can’t dismiss that.”

    2. there is a “web/site” named “black/white/loving” for dateing or relationship, black or white singles can go there to find something sexy or beauty online !!!!

    3. man give props where props are due, brother ali is better then 99 percent ofthe artists covered on this site. LONGLIVE ALI and Rhymesayers ENT. fuck the dumb shit i was a hater but ALI is a breath of fresh air. the truth is here
