Brian McKnight put the Internet into overdrive last night with the release of a video that previews “If You’re Ready to Learn,” a cut off of his adult-themed mixtape.
Poised at the piano, the singer-songwriter delivered raunchy lyrics that caught many by surprise. “Let me show you how your pussy works / Bet you didn’t know that it could squirt,” he sings.
McKnight later took to Twitter to defend the track after many blasted it for being too dirty. “Funny how most of these folks have never been on my timeline when i wrote safe songs hmmmmm one sex filled song and im trending lol,” he wrote after becoming a trending topic. “Its just sad that this is what i had to do to get most of these people to even acknowledge me.”

Interesting coming from a man of Brian’s record history. I love the topic and openess but I don’t know if I love if coming from Brian McKnight. He should have wrote the song or idea for a more versed artist. Loving the outside of the box thinking though because I believe a lot of woman don’t know how there goodas work but I’m finding difficult for Brian to be the messenger of that topic. No hate though you sound great, keep up the good work maybe it will eventually stick, but upon first listening it’s not there for me….
